1. Description of the Service
CoinDesign is an online challenge coin design studio. It helps you turn front and back artwork into production-ready challenge coins through four steps — design, coin modeling, material rendering, and publishing — and offers a material library, gallery sharing, and GLB/STL export for 3D printing or manufacturing. CoinDesign operates autonomously and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by third-party payment providers.
2. Accounts and Plans
- You may use the editor with a free account, which allows up to 5 saved designs and 10 GLB/STL model downloads per month. Paid plans raise the design limit and remove the download cap while active.
- Each paid plan purchase activates the selected plan for 30 days and raises your design limit to the plan's allowance while the plan is active.
- Purchasing the same plan adds 30 days to the current expiry. Purchasing a higher plan takes effect immediately, also adds 30 days, and does not convert or deduct previous payments.
- Design counts are enforced when saving designs; deleting a design frees up capacity immediately.
- A lower plan can be purchased after the current paid plan expires. Expiry returns the account to Free; designs beyond the free limit remain saved but become view-only until a plan is active again.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of the artwork and challenge coin designs you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant CoinDesign the limited license needed to store, process, and render Your Content to provide the service. If you publish a design to the public gallery, you grant other visitors a license to view it, and you grant CoinDesign the right to display it in the gallery until you unpublish it.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all artwork you upload, including any trademarks, emblems, or insignia.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the service to design illegal, fraudulent, or misleading engraved items, including counterfeit currency, official badges or insignia of government or law-enforcement agencies, or unauthorized military emblems.
- Do not create content that infringes the intellectual property or personality rights of others.
- Do not create content that is violent, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
- Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the service, models, or material library.
- Accounts that violate these rules may be suspended or terminated without refund.
5. Depth Maps and External Tools
CoinDesign lets you import depth maps produced with third-party tools or other software. Those tools are operated by their own providers under their own terms; CoinDesign does not generate, review, or warrant that content. Results depend on the tool and the input you provide, and we do not guarantee that any imported depth map will meet your specific requirements. You are responsible for your use of third-party services, including their costs and terms of use.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Exported models are digital references for 3D printing or manufacturing; final production quality depends on the manufacturer and process you choose.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
